האיגוד הישראלי לסטטיסטיקה ומדע הנתונים שמח להזמין סטודנטיות וסטודנטים לתארים מתקדמים להגיש מועמדות להצגה בכנס הסטודנטים לתארים מתקדמים בסטטיסטיקה ומדעי הנתונים, שייערך ביום חמישי, 12 במרץ 2026, בטכניון – חיפה.
הכנס מיועד לסטודנטיות וסטודנטים לדוקטורט ולפוסט־דוקטורט, וכן לסטודנטיות וסטודנטים לתואר שני השוקלים להמשיך ללימודי דוקטורט, אשר תחום לימודיהם או מחקרם מצוי בזיקה לסטטיסטיקה ו/או למדעי הנתונים. נשמח מאוד לקבל הגשות ממגוון רחב של תחומים, גישות ומתודולוגיות.
זוהי הזדמנות להציג את המחקר שלכם, להיחשף לעבודות מחקר עדכניות, ולהתעדכן במחקר הנעשה בפקולטות ובמוסדות שונים ברחבי הארץ.
תחומי הסטטיסטיקה ומדע הנתונים הם רחבים ומגוונים, וקהל הכנס כולל סטודנטים וסטודנטיות ממוסדות ומתחומי מחקר שונים. לפיכך, אנו מבקשים שההצגות תהיינה נגישות וברורות, ויכללו את הרקע והמוטיבציה למחקר – ללא הנחת ידע מוקדם בתחום הספציפי.
ניתן להגיש מועמדות להצגה באחד משני המסלולים הבאים:
1. הרצאה
הרצאה על עבודת המחקר האקדמית.
משך ההרצאה: עד 10 דקות + 5 דקות לשאלות.
יש להגיש:
- שם הסטודנט/ית
- שיוך למוסד אקדמי
- שמות המנחים
- כותרת
- תקציר באורך של עד 300 מילים
- ניתן לצרף קישורים רלוונטיים
2. Elevator Pitch
הצגה עצמית ותיאור קצר של עבודת המחקר האקדמית.
משך ההצגה: 5 דקות.
אופן ההצגה: שקף אחד שיוקרן לאורך כל ההצגה.
יש להגיש:
- שם הסטודנט/ית
- שיוך למוסד אקדמי
- שמות המנחים
- כותרת
- שקף הכולל מספר פרטים ו/או תרשימים המייצגים את המחקר
את ההגשות יש לשלוח לכתובת noa.molshatzki@gmail.com עד ליום שבת ה-7 בפברואר 2026. בכותרת המייל יש לציין את שם המסלול ואת שם השולח/ת. תשובות ישלחו עד יום חמישי, 19 בפברואר 2026.

The Israel Statistics and Data Science Association invites you to submit abstracts for the Graduate Student Conference in Statistics and Data Science, to be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Technion – Haifa.
The conference is intended for PhD and postdoctoral students, as well as master’s students who are considering continuing toward doctoral studies, whose field of study or research is related to statistics and/or data science. We warmly welcome submissions from a wide range of fields, approaches, and methodologies.
This is an opportunity to present your research, be exposed to up-to-date research work, and learn about research conducted in different faculties and institutions in Israel.
The fields of statistics and data science are broad and diverse, and the conference audience includes students from various institutions and research areas. Therefore, we ask that presentations be accessible and clear, and that they include the background and motivation for the research, without assuming prior knowledge in the specific area.
Submissions may be made to one of the following two tracks:
Oral Presentation
A presentation of academic research work.
Presentation length: up to 10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions.
Please submit:
• Student name
• Academic affiliation
• Names of supervisors
• Title
• An abstract of up to 300 words
• Relevant links may be included
Elevator Pitch
A self-introduction and a brief description of the academic research work.
Presentation length: 5 minutes (accompanied by one slide displayed throughout the presentation).
Please submit:
• Academic affiliation
• Names of supervisors
• Title
• One slide including several details and/or figures representing the research
Submissions should be sent to noa.molshatzki@gmail.com by Saturday, February 7, 2026. Please include the name of the track (Oral Presentation or Elevator Pitch) and the sender’s name in the email subject line.
Decisions will be sent by Thursday, February 19, 2026.
